The Student Outreach Clinic at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine is dedicated to providing free, quality, medical care to the uninsured they offer free medical attention on a variety of health topics to the uninsured or underinsured community in Northern Nevada.

The Children's Cabinet offers a wide range of community programs to create a lasting public/private partnership to address the needs of children and their families in our community. That consist of crisis intervention services, case management, academic support, tutoring, transitional living, mentoring, parenting classes, child care subsidies, child care resource and referral assistance, and free family counseling.

Nevada 211 is a useful resources for Nevadans who need help and don’t know where to find services. This call center and online directory provides consumers with information about local resources and family and healthy services.
The Dolly Parton Imagination Library is another free resource available to parents. After registering each child that is under the age of 5 years old, this program will mail an age-appropriate book to all registered children each month for free until the child turns 5 years old.
